Andy Goodrich (Michael Keaton) is facing a pivotal point in his life. Personal problems and struggles with his business are causing significant stress. Matters become further complicated when the mother of his nine-year-old twins enters a 90-day rehab program, leaving him to take care of the kids on his own. Finding modern fatherhood is much more complex than he thought, he reaches out to his first-born daughter Grace (Mila Kunis), now expecting a child of her own, for help. However, as Grace steps in to help, she sees the kind of caring father she missed out on in her own childhood and the two realize they have past grievances they need to process.
